About Us
Community Fridge Niagara is a volunteer group that is building a network of grassroots fridges for and by neighbours across the Niagara region. These community fridges serve as a neighbourly response to food insecurity by providing low-barrier outdoor fridges and pantries that are accessible 24/7 and full of community contributed food.

The fridge and pantry are unstaffed and open 24/7. Drop by to take what you need or leave what you can anytime. We accept fresh fruits and vegetables, dry goods and pantry staples, and many items you would commonly find at a grocery store. Check our contribution guidelines for more information!
No questions, no barriers.
We trust that everyone accessing the fridge is the expert of what they need and deserves to participate without being surveilled, judged or policed. There are no eligibility requirements or expectations.
Take what you need, leave what you can.
Get Involved
Our community fridge is maintained completely by a crew of committed volunteers. Volunteering can include cleaning/disinfecting the fridge and pantry, picking up and dropping off bulk contributions from stores and community partners, as well as admin support with meetings, social media, and other opportunities!
